Pregnancy

Tiny miracles

Your body goes through some dramatic changes during pregnancy – and your general well-being can determine the health of your unborn baby. The developing baby eats what you eat and drinks what you drink, so it’s imperative you give your ‘bump’ all the nutrients he or she needs. Unsurprisingly, this means drinking not only enough water to stop your own body from becoming dehydrated, but also enough to provide the nutrients to the baby through the umbilical cord, and get rid of the waste products.

Being properly hydrated is extremely important for expectant mothers. Making sure you’re taking enough water can even help alleviate the symptoms of morning sickness. Drinking two litres per day should be considered a minimum when you’re pregnant – this is roughly four pints.

We all have a tendency to overestimate how much water we drink. So, to manage your water intake easily, drink from bottled Highland Spring so you know exactly how much you’ve had.
