Highland Spring held its first ever Sports Day at Sportscotland National Centre in Inverclyde on 2 May. We teamed up with the Scotsman and ran a competition for 48 kids to spend the day at Inverclyde and take part in mountain biking, golf, gymnastics, fitness and team building and tennis! The sportscotland coaches were there throughout the day and Quadruple Olympic Gold Medalist Sir Chris Hoy was on hand to provide advice and motivate the kids. Commonwealth athlete Lee McConnell was also present to lead the fitness sessions. Both Sir Chris and Lee took part in a lively Q&A session where the kids got the chance to ask them all about their successful careers and training regime.
Highland Spring is committed to getting more children to adopt healthier drinking habits and reinforcing the link between active sport and good hydration.
