Highland Spring launches new sparkling bottle

Highland Spring launches new sparkling bottle

Monday, 22 February 2010

Highland Spring has launched an innovative new plastic bottle design for its sparkling water range, creating the lightest bottles on the market, reinforcing the company’s commitment to the environment.

The new bottles will be on shelf from March and will see Highland Spring reduce the amount of plastic used across its sparkling range by 9%. In addition, the amount of paper used for labels across the sparkling range has been reduced by 39%.

At a time when people are increasingly price conscious, dining in is the new dining out. Sparkling water is the perfect refreshment to serve at home when entertaining. It’s versatile and can be enjoyed on its own, or as a perfect alternative to alcohol. What’s more the new sparkling bottle will add a bit of style to any dining table.

Sparkling water is also a great option for those all important girls’ nights because non-alcoholic fizz is the ideal alternative to champagne bubbles.

The Food Standards Agency recommends adults should drink around six to eight glasses  of water a day. Sparkling water is the ideal way to vary your water intake.
