As the No.1 kids bottled water brand, Highland Spring is committed to getting more children to adapt better hydration habits and take part in active sport. Through our association the Lawn Tennis Association we are able to capture children's attention and inspire them to get involved in new sporting activities.
Lawn Tennis Association
In February 2008, Highland Spring became the first official supplier in the Lawn Tennis Association’s new commercial programme. In our role as official water supplier, Highland Spring is present at all major LTA events including the AEGON Championships staged at Queens, the AEGON Classic in Birmingham and the AEGON International in Eastbourne.
Highland Spring Hot Shots Tour
In association with the LTA, Highland Spring has also created the Highland Spring Hot Shots Tour. Through use of a range of inflatable tennis challenges, the tour helps to promote tennis in a fun and enjoyable way to both children and adults at events across the UK.
Mini Tennis
In 2011, Highland Spring extended its partnership with the LTA to become the new sponsor of Mini Tennis. The programme, which specifically caters for 3 to 10 year olds, has been updated and enhanced in a bid to attract more kids to tennis whilst also supporting coaches, clubs, and parents. Highland Spring will be supporting the traditional red, orange and green stages as well as the new LTA Mini Tennis Rally Awards scheme and the LTA's entry level coach education scheme.
Mini Tennis is a terrific opportunity for Highland Spring to further promote our commitment to encouraging children to take part in active sport and adopt better hydration habits.
Davis Cup
Since 2007, Highland Spring has been a proud supporter of the GB Davis Cup Team. The Davis Cup is the biggest and most prestigious team competition in men’s tennis, and sees around 130 nations battle it out for top honours.
As the official water of the AEGON GB Davis Cup Team, we ensure the team are well hydrated with Highland Spring during all of their matches.
Barclays ATP World Tour Finals
In 2010, we further strengthened our links with tennis by signing a deal to become the Official Water Supplier to the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals at The O2 Arena in London from for the next 4 years.
The event, which is one of the biggest and most exciting events on the tennis calendar, is the climax of the men's professional tennis season and gives tennis fans the chance to see the top eight singles players and top eight double teams battle it out for the coveted last title of the year. In 2010, attendance at the event surpassed 250,000 making it the highest attended indoor tennis event ever.
As Official Water Supplier, Highland Spring will be supplied to all players, officials, hospitality, media, crew and guests at the event.
Visitors to the tournament can also brush up on their own tennis skills by visiting the Highland Spring Hot Shots Tour which will be part of the new interactive Fan Zone at The O2.
